Prior to founding Telander Law, PLLC, Eric was an Assistant State’s Attorney at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office from 2010 – 2013.

While an Assistant State’s Attorney, Eric was actively engaged in prosecuting cases including misdemeanors and assisting on felony matters. During this time, Eric was selected to represent the Office at the Illinois State’s Attorney’s and Illinois Department of Transportation’s “Under the Influence Seminar.” Eric also managed trial strategy and courtroom scheduling for the expedient disposition of cases as a first chair prosecutor, conducting over 100 bench and jury trials. Upon leaving the State’s Attorney’s Office, Eric was presented the award for Outstanding Service to the Office of the State's Attorney and the Citizens of DuPage County.

Following his time at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, in 2013, Eric joined Telander and Telander Attorney’s and Counselor’s at Law, primarily focusing on criminal defense matters across Illinois. During this time, Eric aggressively and successfully defended clients from criminal matters ranging from traffic tickets to serious felonies, including many high profile cases.

In 2019, Eric brought his criminal defense expertise to The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C. in Wheaton, Illinois.

While continuing to represent clients in criminal matters, Eric added family law practice to his portfolio of clients. Eric vigorously represented clients in all family law matters throughout the Chicagoland area, using his litigation skills to effectively advocate for his wide range of clients.
